REBUILD PROCESS INFORMATION
Every turbocharger is carefully disassembled, all components cleaned and inspected. Consumable parts are discarded (journal bearings, turbine seal rings, o-ring seals, etc.). Housings and wheels are checked for wear and cracks. Each bearing housing is checked to be within factory tolerances. If not, it is honed to as necessary for repair. Most components are media blasted by hand to remove any rust, dirt, and scaling. Then, the turbocharger is reassembled using new parts (bearings, thrust bearings, seals, o-rings, thrust parts, etc.). All turbochargers reassembled using stainless steel hardware, where applicable. All turbochargers rebalanced.
